About the event
Ever wonder what it’s really like to run a rescue for farm animals? Join us on Saturday, August 22nd at 11:00 AM for an eye-opening look into daily sanctuary life. We’ll pull back the curtain on what it takes to provide lifelong care to rescued animals, and explore how a true sanctuary's philosophy, daily operations, and goals fundamentally differ from commercial agriculture or a typical hobby farm.
This talk is presented on behalf of Farm of the Free Animal Sanctuary, a GFAS-certified haven located in Good Hope, GA. Farm of the Free is dedicated to the rescue of animals from the industrial farming system, and is currently home to cows, donkeys, goats, sheep, a very special pig, and 16 chickens across five distinct flocks.
