Winter Hay Fundraiser Has Officially Begun!

🐮 Feed the Herd. Keep Them Warm.

When winter arrives, the grass at Farm of the Free stops growing, leaving our residents fully dependent on fresh hay to be trucked in for survival. All the grass in the pastures goes dormant in the winter. We see this ourselves throughout Georgia.

Our thirteen grazers include:

🐄 Cows Waylon, Dani, Phoenix, Daisy, and Wilson

🫏 Donkeys Danny-Jo and Theo

🐐 Goats Duke and Pippin

🐑 Sheep Sammie, Sampson, Roxanne, and Nellie Jane.

They rely on 680 bales of Bermuda hay to stay fed and warm through the cold months.

Each bale costs $11, and our total winter hay goal is $7,480. Every donation helps fill the barn, fuel their bodies, and keep them comfortable when the pastures go dormant.

🚜🌾🧑🏼‍🌾  Choose Your Impact

$63 = One Day of Hay

Keeps all 13 residents, including Waylon, Dani, Phoenix, Daisy, Wilson, and their friends, fed and warm for a full day. Your gift ensures every belly is full and every heart is content, even when the pastures are bare.

$440 = One Week of Hay

Sustains our herd for seven days of meals and warmth. Your generosity keeps the barn filled with hay, providing the comfort and nutrition our residents depend on to thrive through cold winter nights.

$1,870 = One Month of Hay

Feeds and warms every cow, donkey, goat, and sheep for an entire month. Your compassion fuels their bodies, strengthens their health, and helps Farm of the Free carry them safely to spring.

Visit the official fundraising page to make a donation.

Please only give what you can. Your compassion keeps our herd fed, safe, healthy, and loved all winter long.
