🌾 Feed the Herd This Winter

Every winter, the grass in our pastures goes dormant. It turns brown and stops growing, so our cows, donkeys, goats, and sheep depend on hay to stay fed and warm until spring. This winter, the residents need 680 bales of hay.
At $11 a bale, our goal is $7,480 by December 31. Every gift, big or small, helps keep the barn full and the herd healthy. Give $63 or more, and we’ll mail you a holiday ornament featuring Duke.
💛 Give to the hay fundraiser – every bale counts.
It takes a passionate community to run a nonprofit animal sanctuary.
❄️ Why the Herd Needs Hay
When the grass stops growing, hay is everything.
From December to spring, our pastures go to sleep. Our cows, goats, sheep, and other grazing residents depend on hay for food every single day. Hay also helps keep them warm, since digesting it creates body heat on cold nights.

🙏 Thank You for Feeding the Herd

You kept the barn full last winter.
Last year, our community came together to make sure every resident had plenty of hay until spring. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and friend who made that possible.
This winter, we need your help again. Every bale you give means a warm, full belly for someone who depends on us.
🌾 Feed the herd today – gifts are open through December 31.
