Dani

Dani was born in 2019 and is the heart of her family. She was rescued from slaughter as part of a group of 10 cows. Like many Angus cows, her life was once valued only for meat. But her story changed when she was brought to safety.

At the time of her rescue, Dani was pregnant. Soon after arriving at safety, she gave birth to her son, Phoenix.

Dani is strong, brave, and a very caring mother. Even as Phoenix grows, she still watches over him closely. If he makes a certain call, she will come right over and stay by his side.

She is also playful and full of energy. When she is excited, she will run, jump, and kick her legs in the air.

Dani loves special snacks and will happily come over when she knows a treat is coming.

She has a small tear in her left ear from an old ear tag, a reminder of her past. Today, she is safe and leading her family with care.
