Duke came from a rehoming situation where the owners moved and could no longer care for him.
Unfortunately, his horns were already debudded when he came to us, but that doesn’t stop him from playing with our other goat and sheep residents! Even without horns, him and Pippin, our other goat resident who does have horns, will still butt each other for fun.
Aside from his herd, Duke also loves attention from human friends too. One of his most unique quirks is holding a hoof up to us to let us know he wants it scratched, and if you don’t show him the attention he’s asking for he may just start nibbling on your clothing!
Duke was one of our first residents at FOTF when it was opened and we hope to have him for many more years to come!
