Nellie Jane

Nellie Jane was a twin, and unfortunately, her mother rejected her. She had to be bottle-fed, and she’s awkwardly learning how to be a member of the herd at FOTF.

She arrived the same day as our other older sheep Roxanne. After Roxanne lost her baby, Nellie took over and looked up to Roxanne as a mother figure. If Roxanne was out of her sight, Nellie would cry for her to come back.

Now that Nellie is older, she has become quite a sassy little sheep! Sometimes she will charge at her herd mates and even our caregivers! Just recently she has become more inclined to accept petting without trying to “play.”
