Theodore

Theodore was found wandering on someone’s property, who contacted Theodore’s original owner, who only offered to “come shoot him and drag him off the property.”

The kind property owner rejected this offer, and instead called Animal Control. Theo ended up in foster care, becoming a transfer rescue to FOTF. Although Theo is typically standoffish to newcomers, he has definitely come a long way with us! In fact, he is the more social one than our other resident donkey, Danny Jo.

Theo and Danny Jo are inseparable, you rarely see one without the other. When DJ was quarantined with hoof issues, Theo stood nearby braying and trying to reach him. We ended up having to reunite them both in quarantine so they could be together!

Today, they are both back in the pasture together and can be seen running laps in Paddock Paradise!
