Danny Jo

Danny-Jo came to us from Bremen, GA, having been abandoned on a homeowner's property. When the homeowners had to move, we were asked to adopt and re-home him.

After coming to FOTF we realized DJ was not very socialized and unfortunately was overweight, causing him to develop hoof problems.

He was moved to our quarantine area, where we worked on getting his health back into shape, and in the process, he slowly got used to the kindness of humans during his hoof cleaning sessions.

DJ can be found following Theo around in Paddock Paradise, and while he is still wary of people, particularly newcomers, it warms our hearts to see how far he has come since being at Farm of the Free.
