Sammie

Sammie (Katahdin breed) was rescued from a farm. Her mom rejected her and bottle-fed by her caretakers.

Her growth was stunted since she was rejected by her mother, and she didn’t fit in with the other sheep on the farm. She was on her way to the market to be slaughtered, which is why she found a home at FOTF.

She quickly became a part of the family here and gets along greatly with her herd mates and all of our caregivers and volunteers! You will never meet a sheep sweeter than Sammie! She loves getting attention from her human friends and will sometimes try to “hug” you by climbing into your lap!
