Hank

Hank is our lovable Kunekune Pig! He was an emergency rescue after having been neglected alone in a pen, and was 3 years old when he came to live at Farm of the Free. We learned he suffered a dog attack when he was younger and was left without ears and deaf.

It was clear to see Hank was malnourished, so we had a big job of getting him to a healthy weight, in addition to building his enclosure.

Despite all of this, it was clear to see that in the first week Hank was at Farm of the Free, he was adjusting well, and we could immediately sense he had a sweet and playful spirit.

These days, Hank has gained a healthy amount of weight, and moved into his forever home thanks to the generous donations and the hard work from our community.
