Pippin was rescued from a goat dairy farm. A friend of a FOTF supporter convinced the goat farm people to let Pippin come to a sanctuary rather than being slaughtered (since males are no use to a goat dairy farm).
Since then, Pippin has become somewhat of an icon at FOTF. He has definitely taken a leadership role within his herd of sheep and one other goat. Whenever playtime ensues he comes around to make sure things don’t get too out of hand, and whenever we have visitors he is always first to greet them!
He very much enjoys attention from human friends most days and he shows that by either rubbing his head on you or following you around. He also enjoys “helping” with chores. Most everyone who meets Pippin absolutely loves him!
